About Our Founder
Nombuso Mtsweni has over 16 years’ experience in construction, from contracting to consulting and now as an entrepreneur. She is a registered PrCPM with the SACPCMP, and is pursuing a registration as a Pr Construction Mentor with the same council.
She is passionate about working on projects with an impact on society, removing the shame of poverty and restoring dignity to the areas she works in. The projects she has worked on include social facilities such as libraries, numerous clinics, hospice (frail care facilities), fire stations and private schools in townships.
She has volunteered for associations such as SAIBPP (SA institute of Black Property Professionals) where she sits on the executive as a member of the Learning & Development portfolio. Assigned to her alma mater, University of the Witwatersrand, she assists with students development, mentoring and networking to provide access to opportunities.
She has driven the completion of various developments, as a leader in technical skills combined with outstanding stakeholder management capabilities, that have ensured peaceful projects that instil pride and communities take ownership of the works.
Her exposure to government spheres at local and provincial level has allowed her to navigate and understand the socio-political impact of infrastructure on society and how it can be used for the alleviation of poverty.
In her experience of working between the private and public sectors, she identified a gap in implementation in the private sector that led to cost overruns and cancelled projects. With the assistance of her mentors, she has developed this alternative approach to project delivery, that combines the project management principles per the PMBOK and focuses on Risk and Stakeholder management with the lessons learnt in the private sector, which have been proven to be successful.
